A game engine is the core software component of a computer or video game with real-time graphics. It is a sotware architecture design which binds all the required components of game like graphics, input, sound, scripting into one package.

Objective of this course is to prepare a student with all the skill sets requires to develop a current generation shader model based game engine using Micorsoft DirectX9 framework.On completion of game engine, student will develop a 3D fps shooter game using that engine.

Casual game is used to refer to a category of games targeted at a mass audience. Casual games usually have a few simple rules and an engaging game design, making it easy for a new player to begin playing the game in just minutes. Casual Games have extremely simple gameplay, like a puzzle game that can be played entirely using a one-button mouse or cellphone keypad.

Objective of this course is to make you ready to develop any type of casual game. In this course we'll be teaching the use of industry standard casual game engine HGE to develop course projects
